Terykony accompanies Nastia and her friends as they roam around in their war-torn country. The places where they play, hang out, or listen to music are wounded landscapes. Director, Taras Tomenko tells of growing up in present-day eastern Ukraine, utilising densely crafted images and tableaus and with a truly lyrical eye for the depiction of an unbroken childlike resilience when faced by the hardships of war.
